I would like to see a secure implementation for the http_listener via SSL. Currently https is not supported, but this would be a nice feature.
Comments: Hi bwengert79, Yes our http_listener as stands right now doesn't support HTTPS as you discovered :). We do build on top of the Windows HTTP Server API which absolutely supports HTTPS. I'm glad to hear you were able to add the support yourself. The primary reason we don't have it right now is basically due to limited time and things we can work on. Right now we are focusing on iOS/MacOS, WebSockets, and other miscellaneous bugs for our coming release. We'd love it if you'd be willing to contribute back your changes so it can be supported. You would need to add any necessary test cases, go through code review, and sign the contributor license agreement. Would you be willing to share these changes back?
