Hi,
In an effort for us to be more efficient with our releases, and spend more time implementing features :), we are thinking about not producing MSIs in future releases and only release binaries with our NuGet package. For people who build from source code on your own, this won't affect you.
Functionality wise they are same, both deliver the same includes, libs, and dlls. From a usability perspective NuGet is arguable easier since you don't have to choose which MSI to download based on your Visual Studio version and it automatically handles setting up the includes/libs/dlls.
Let us know how if you have a reason why you prefer an MSI.
Thanks,
Steve
